I don’t know how to take these things. When I first got into linux it was because of an article like this. I figured it’s better to learn about the future now. Besides … it was free. Don’t get me wrong I love linux, but I just don’t see Microsoft loosing.

\n95% of all software written seems to be for windows. Good news is most viruses are written for windows, and windows exploits.<\/p>\n

Almost all hardware has a nice little M$ logo. Only way I can see it is if hardware truely is an issue, and they don’t make room for older devices. Backwards compatability has always been an issue when upgrading.<\/p>\n

I bought a PS2 because it would play PS1 games, and I’ll probably get a PS3 because it will be able to play PS1, and PS2 games. If my PS2 wouldn’t have played PS1 games I might have considered a different gaming console. Although … due to their little stunt with DRM I might not.<\/p>\n

Almost all games released for a computer are written for M$ first, and then everything else.<\/p>\n

Linux doesn’t have many high end games. I remember seeing quake or something like that for linux, but I’m not one to play shoot em up games like that. It’s just not my thing.<\/p>\n

Rest assured if you buy vista and something simple like your usb drive doesn’t work with it I seriously doubt the public would buy it. Then again … I could be wrong.<\/p>\n
