Bush Executive Order: Criminalizing the Antiwar Movement

It’s a sad sad day when you read things like these. To know that your rights to speak freely in America are now gone.

At the risk of having all my assets frozen I think it’s safe to say we should impeach Bush now.

If he’s passing laws like this, then mark my words, there will be no election November 2008. He’ll figure out a way to be the new dictator of America.

    This law has nothing to do with “speech” as it deals with people who have been determined:

    (i) to have committed, or to pose a significant risk of committing, an act or acts of violence that have the purpose or effect of:

    (A) threatening the peace or stability of Iraq or the Government of Iraq;

    Unless you are blowing up things in Iraq or on college campuses, this law has nothing to do with you. What you read (and alluded to in your post) is by a left-wing liberal college professor who has as big of an agenda as any of the political pundits inside the beltway. The writer of the story is none other than left-leaning socialist Michael Chossudovsky from Canada.

    He’s misstated the intent of the new law and misrepresented the implications.

    You never did have the Constitutional right to blow things up in the first place.
