I find it really odd that now in the year 2007 that M$ has finally decided it’s a good idea to add something that the competition Open Office has had the ability to do for several years now.
At any rate have fun spending $100-200 on a commercial product while I get all the latest features for free from open office.
Truth is I don’t use .doc files. My “job” does, but other than that I haven’t had the desire to put anything into doc files. I think they are stupid, and resource hungry.
What I do use is .swx/.odt files. Then I convert them to .doc via open office.
