I like the idea of going back in time… I figured why not make a category, and add some post some ideas.
I think one of the first things I would do is get a terabyte drive … maybe bigger, then go back in time, and visit mp3.com before it was sold. Then download everything I could. I might even make a bot that did it. I’d probably spend a lot of time on audiogalaxy, and join all the groups I used to belong to and send myself all my favorite songs. The challenge would be NOT to send a song that wasn’t released yet, but to be honest.
I’ve always wondered if just by chance someone in the riaa came across an mp3 player from the future. It’d be kinda funny if they did. It’d be an inside track on what is going to be hot, and what is not.  What would be really funny is a time traveler from the future actually mentioned, that the internet was going to destroy their current model, and soon they would be toast no matter how hard they tried. Mostly because artists would no longer need them in the future.
