It seems more and more school isn’t about teaching you “how to think”, but teaching you “what to think”.
I think Firefox is a much safer browser. It’s a lot more secure than IE, and on top of that they actually try and uphold web standards when rendering a web page.
It’s cross platform, so you get the same results on linux, mac, and windows.
What this really says to me is that the teacher would rather “teach” that they have authority over the student, and the student must obey. Even if what they are doing is a more sound choice.
There is a phone number, maybe someone should cal and educate them. Personally I don’t have any desire to harass some school board member. They’ve got their hands full with all the other parents.

Pay too much and you could raise the alarm
This is just insane. Apparently now you can be considered a terrorist if you pay too much on your credit card bill.
This sucks because we were planning on playing a big amount off on one of our debts when we get a refund this next year.
When is paying off a debt going to make you a terrorist? I would think if you were funding a terrorist operation you would pay cash.
I guess being responsible and paying your bills off isn’t “American.”
Next thing you know if you buy gold you’re going to be considered a terrorist, and not someone who is just trying to get prepared for the future in the event all your assets are frozen because you “might” be a terrorist.
We shouldn’t be under such scrutiny. Paying a bill off is so freaking harmless. I’m not scared of Terrorists. I’m more scared of the government looking for terrorists

Bush vetoes $10bn increase in health/education budget, signs $40bn increase in Pentagon budget
I sorta think this is insane … couldn’t you have taken 10 billion from the military and given it to our schools? No wonder Americans are considered so stupid, probably because we are. Grated I sorta think school is there to teach you what to think, and not how to think.

The Anomalies Network : John Titor – I am from 2036
Too bad he’s not around to ask questions in this time frame I’d ask him about this post, just to see how far off my theory is for creating a worm hole.
It’d be interesting to say the least. Chances are the guy is a nut, but who knows 🙂

This is a really close call. However I’d call it “Do you believe in me now?” — God    Moment.

Magazines, shoot newspaper ads are becoming a thing of the past.
What are we going to do in 15-20 years for stupid ads on the net? I’m sure you’ve seen them $8500 for a tandy 1000.
2 Meg of ram oooo it was amazing back then to even consider that kind of machine. You could probably buy this machine for less than $100 today … shoot $10 if you go to the right garage sale/flea market.
What are we going to do in the future for stupid ads?
This brings up a why I think a magazine/newspaper article might actually be a little bit better investment for advertising.
